A group of Royal Italian Army soldiers has been ordered to check up on an observation post high up in the Dolomite Mountains. The Austrian army is the least of their concerns. Deadly storms, avalanches, the cold, disease, and other hazards claim more lives than their enemies. However, as the squad approaches their goal, little do they realize that there are far worse threats than men or nature. Who is the true lord of the peaks? Find out in this special one shot recorded at Gencon 2014! Sorry about the noise, but we had to play in an open gaming room that piped in music, even late at night.

gugThe quest of the dreamers takes them to the Underworld. Their earlier adventures pale to the nightmarish dangers that face them in the gloomy darkness of the endless caverns ahead. A strange guide offers to help, but only for a price he refuses to name. Even with the guide’s help, countless horrors lurk in the shadows. Their journey will take them to the city of the Gugs, a monstrous race of giants. Can the dreamers infiltrate such a Cyclopean stronghold?

Georgian_sniper_during_South_Ossetia_warv2 In early August 2008, Russia invaded the Republic of Georgia from the North.  The Georgian government had expected a Black Sea landing and had deployed its army in the west.  Taken off guard, a special forces team was hastily assembled and dropped into the northern part of South Ossetia -a place formally part of Georgia but with many rebel groups wanting to break away.  Their mission was to destroy the Roki Tunnel, delaying the Russian army until the Georgians could redeploy.  Historically, they failed to destroy the tunnel and instead destroyed a bridge further south and ambushed the Russian armored column, delaying the Russians about a day, but it wasn’t enough.  All were lost, but they destroyed a lot of Russian hardware. In this alternate history scenario, a group of Georgian special forces operators attempt to hold back the Russians as long as possible.

The Men from Leng trade in the city freely and it seems the citizens of Lhosk do not suspect their true allegiances. The Dreamers must find passage to Ulthar while avoiding the Men from Leng, a task easier said than done. Furthermore, they must add a new dreamer who has joined the group, but will he adapt to this strange new land?
