listening to this I was like…”are they really gonna import, like, mercantilist proto-capitalism slave statery into Nagalisitu???” and frankly I’m still not sure how you’re gonna avoid that if these guys are the model! but hearing Caleb rip on them was wonderful
“and society does not collapse under the weight of this?”
also the cross-generational army reunion at the end and the people asking after their relatives was fffucking haunting, A+++
I have been listening to you guys for years, and I think “Reign: Nagalisitu (Oh right, because of those things we did)” might just be my favorite campaign so far.
“The worst lie is the one you mostly know is false but you want to believe it.”
Damn, Caleb.
I love how the freewheeling adventures of the early campaign have turned into the weight of consequences. “Oh, my actions.” or “That thing we did” sum it up really well.
This particular order of introduced concepts has led to a really terrifying Nagalisitu. I’m looking forward to the Reign Realities release to see the other permutations.
WE FINALLY LEARN WHAT “FOUR HANDS” MEANS
@Will
I was aiming for the meaningful name that went unnoticed until the origin wrecking-balled into the group. It didn’t quite have the impact I’d hoped for, the sudden realization that Four Hands, aka Experiment 20, showed merely by existing how far “Mother” was willing to go.
But your all-caps tells me I did it right. Thank you 🙂
