Trail of Cthulhu: The Mystery of Brighton Lodge

Melissa took the reins as GM for the first time and used the Trail of Cthulhu rules to run an Agatha Christie style mystery. Stability was replaced with sensibility – act out of character for a proper English person and risk losing sensibility! At any rate, a young woman has been murdered at Brighton Lodge and all of the guests are confined to the resort until the police can finish their investigation. A group of curious guests band together to find the real killer, because the arrested suspect is clearly not the real murderer. Can you figure out who the culprit is?

The Play’s The Thing: Macbeth

The Play’s the Thing is an indie RPG about retelling Shakespearean plays as a collaborative effort between players. Caleb ran a session of it, using Macbeth as the play. We had a full group of players as we entered the Scottish moors, waiting for news on the war. Also, Inverness is a bouncy castle. There’s not much else to say, is there? I pray God will curse the writer, as the writer has cursed the world with this beautiful, stupendous creation, terrible in its simplicity, irresistible in its truth — a world which now trembles before the King in Yellow.

Call of Cthulhu: The Last Flight of 0237 – Part 1

A group of FBI agents is sent to investigate a strange crime – the apparent hijacking of a cargo plane in mid-flight. The flight resulted in a mid-air collision with another plane. The flight recorder showed that someone other than the pilots was in the plane. The plane crashed in the wilderness of North Dakota, during winter. Something far darker than agents can imagine is behind the crash. The answers lie in the desolate plains. (Part two will be posted next – this was a bit too long to post as a single AP).
