We wear no masks. Hotline Miami is a mindfuck of a video game and after beating it, I realized it would fit in the world of the Cthulhu mythos. Rampant violence, madness, the blurring of hallucinations with reality, a lack of meaning in a cold, bleak universe, and hordes of goons to kill! The emphasis on masks in Hotline Miami makes it perfect as part of the Hastur/King in Yellow mythos, so I started there. Of course, I didn’t tell any of the players this before I started the scenario. See how long it takes them to figure out what’s going on. Also, this scenario is notable for a a few twists, especially when it comes to Tom and Aaron. Even if you’ve beaten the game, you’ll won’t know what’s coming!

Synopsis: At Gencon 2012, we were fortunate enough to play and record the playtest of a World War 1 scenario written by Mr. Glancy and Frank Frey. In the Blegian city of Leuven, a man is murdered in an impossible manner – taken out of a locked room and thrown from a great height, his body dashed across the street a great distance away. The German occupation force wishes the murder solved quickly and without incident. To that end, they’ve assembled an unlikely task force of Belgians, Americans, and Germans. Given the backdrop of war, atrocity, and the occult, can this group of investigators find the real murderer before it’s too late?

This episode dates back from last year’s Halloween but I had forgotten about it until today so I decided to share with you all now. A group of New Yorkers are lured overseas by a human trafficking syndicate for a sinister purpose – to be thrown into a mysterious structure known only as the Construct. The rules of reality are seemingly suspended inside but there is a dark logic at work. Two alien intelligences are at war. Can this group of unlikely survivors figure out how to escape the Construct and their captors?

Don't look now...From Dennis Detwiller’s Tumblr:

“A Victim of the Art” is a Delta Green scenario set in the fictional town of Glenridge, Long Island. The investigators play Delta Green agents and/or friendlies brought in to solve a series of grisly murders which have rocked the small, rich, seaside community.

The killer is not human – but the perpetrator is.

A PDF of the scenario is available at the Tumblr page.
