mutantyearzeroAfter an apocalypse wiped out most of the surface, life continued in an underground bunker. Over the years, the children of the residents became more and more mutated, until some were scarcely recognizable as human. However, for three of the current generation of mutants, life is about to change. For a year, the guardians of the bunker have fought a war against monsters invading the lower levels. Food and water supplies are being shipped up in smaller and smaller increments until the water supply dries up entirely. The residents must delve into the bottom levels to find out what has happened. What they find will shock them to their core.

Duck and Cover is for suckers! In the grimdark future where war, war never changes, some people built a Vault in the Ozarks. Other people survived the nuclear war by hiding in the vault. Today, the door to the vault opens. What will the citizens of Vault 26 do in the post-apocalyptic Ozarks? Can they become a powerful faction like Beartown or Neo-Branson or will they fall prey to the raiders or giant ants that plague the region? This is a 2 session game. We never played another session, but that’s no reason to deprive you of it. We used GURPS 4th edition, some online Fallout GURPS material, and the GURPS mass combat rules.

YOU CAN'T CUT FUNDING: YOU WILL REGRET THISThe Quiet Year is not exactly a role playing game, but after I saw its great IndieGoGo promotional video, I knew I had to give the game a shot. Recently the stars finally aligned so that we could give the game a try. As you will hear, we created a fairly unique narrative for a small village struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, after an event called “The Great Separation.” Since the game only allows for up to four players, we’ll have to do at least one more game with the other members of the RPPR crew.

Since the map is a central element of the game, I’ve created a PDF of it that you can download. Check it out!

At least the rent's cheapThis one shot scenario was inspired by the critically acclaimed video game, Lone Survivor. In a bleak, post-apocalyptic city, a group of survivors huddle in a broken down apartment building, including a doctor, a thief, and a cop. The few survivors still able to move around on their own have to work together to find supplies and a way out of the apartment building. But can they overcome the monsters roaming the halls and the terrifying secrets lurking in the building? What is the mystery behind the green, blue, and red pills? Is the apocalypse even real? Find out in this special one shot of Fear Itself!
