Max - ultimate security guard and Firewall agentAs we approach the conclusion of the Know Evil campaign, each episode will be accompanied by a portrait of a Firewall agent. Our first portrait is Max, drew’s ill-fated Ultimate security guard.

In this episode of the Know Evil campaign, the Firewall team prepares to leave the scum swarm, but not before doing last mission. In order to secure transportation to a remote habitat and acquire some equipment, the team agrees to assassinate a heavily defended war criminal in an isolated spacecraft. Of course the target is guarded by a crack squad of ultimate mercenaries and the spacecraft is trapped. But the Firewall team is nothing if not determined. Bullets and nanoswarms will fly in the blood opera of the Scum Swarm Tier!

Man, I'd kill a lot of bounty hunters to get out of being a moisture farmer. I hate moisture farming so much >:OA few months ago, Dan offered to run a Star Wars game using Wild Talents and Star ORE, along with a few other house rules. It only lasted two sessions but they were fun! So, to provide some holiday cheer, I present to you the Ballad of Kevin Starchaser (and his friends). They have a spaceship and make poor life decisions. Also: Star Wars.

SSPPPPAAAACCCEEEEE In this episode, the Heroes of New Arcadia travel into deep space to stop a massive asteroid from destroying Earth, a mission they have put off for a while. If the asteroid reaches Earth, it will surely destroy all life on the planet. The heroes know that the asteroid did not become a threat on its own – someone or something has altered its course. Changing the asteroid’s path will be perilous, but what other threats lie in wait for the Heroes of New Arcadia? Find out in this action-packed episode!

The Stars, the final destination? In this episode of Know Evil, the Firewall team draws close to an end of its time on the scum swarm but there is much work yet to be done. Existential threats, war criminals, and the swarm’s leaders all threaten the team’s operation. Furthermore, each member of the team is personally challenged by their own choices. How much more can they compromise to make sure their mission is a success? As they face the monsters that lurk in the shadows, can these isolated Firewall agents be sure that they haven’t been corrupted as well? Perhaps by taking down a threat to all of transhumanity, they can redeem themselves. Or not. Find out what the threat is and if it is stopped in this episode!

We wear no masks. Hotline Miami is a mindfuck of a video game and after beating it, I realized it would fit in the world of the Cthulhu mythos. Rampant violence, madness, the blurring of hallucinations with reality, a lack of meaning in a cold, bleak universe, and hordes of goons to kill! The emphasis on masks in Hotline Miami makes it perfect as part of the Hastur/King in Yellow mythos, so I started there. Of course, I didn’t tell any of the players this before I started the scenario. See how long it takes them to figure out what’s going on. Also, this scenario is notable for a a few twists, especially when it comes to Tom and Aaron. Even if you’ve beaten the game, you’ll won’t know what’s coming!

read more about this scenario on my blog!
