Helos, a Greek Occultist, has acquired a complete copy of Al-Azif. Having a desire to keep this acquisition secret, he has sought the most distant translator possible. Posing as a rich merchant, he has come to Saeferne Abbey and engaged the services of Albinus, a translator. His financial “offering” to the church has gained him access to Albinus, and will protect him unless there is conclusive evidence of wrongdoing on his part. During the process of translation, some dark recess of Albinus’ soul has been awakened…

The year is 1880, and the posse is forming.It’s easy to feel alone as the shadows gather and the pale moon rises over the High Plains. The Apache say that on nights like this, the cold wind from the prairie has a mind of its own – a malignant chill, born of the darkness, which eats at your warmth, and steals all compassion.

It was a night like that when Barton Duvall rode into Tombstone. A night like that when they found what was left of little Alina Hundle – the few sad remains, barely recognizable, that Barton had left for her family to bury. And, it was a night like that when you realised that justice was more than a word bandied around by fearful shopkeepers – it was a necessity.

Harlem, New York City, December 1920. Even as the bitter cold envelops the city, Harlem is heating up. A vibrant rent party turns deadly when monstrous attackers show up. In the aftermath, two veterans of World War 1, some of the Harlem Hellfighters, are blamed and arrested. Friends of the veterans try to help them by investigating the attackers, who appeared like undead German soldiers from the War. Something dark stalks the streets of Harlem and only a trio of heroes can stop them!
