A group of Takers have been hired to secure printers and laminating machines from a DMV in an overrun mall. Along the way, they will have to fight casualties, a toll booth, and other Takers. The year is 1936. The passengers on PanAm’s trans-Pacific flying boat “The Orient Clipper” are planning to travel from San Francisco to Hong Kong in five days of four-star luxury. Each travels to serve their own mysterious and dubious agendas. But when they are cast into an impossible world of lost civilizations, prehistoric beasts and primitive tribesmen, they must pull together to escape the fate of so many others who have been marooned here. Can they gain the trust of the locals? Can they salvage the parts they need to repair their plane from the “graveyard of ships?” Can they avoid the titanic beasts and brutal corsairs that call this world their hunting grounds. Find out in this weeks episode of Hollow Earth Expedition- “Escape from the Eye of Thoth!”

Synopsis. The horrors of the First World War did not end at the battlefield for many. Crippling injuries affected countless soldiers and civilians on both sides. In one British countryside hospital, a group of wounded soldiers begin the long journey of coming to terms with their wounds when a doctor offers them a chance at a normal life. The experimental surgery can restore missing limbs and burned skin and safely extract embedded shrapnel. It seems like a panacea for all forms of injury, but how can it possibly work? As the patients consider their options, their dreams grow strange. Their war has ended, but another one beckons…

Looks like a sound investment. http://matthewniederhauser.com/research/2011/09/03/the-ordos-real-estate-bubble-an-empty-chinese-metropolis/When I was in China, I met up with some RPPR listeners and ran a game of Call of Cthulhu for them. I was fascinated by the rise of Ghost Cities in China, so I decided to run a one shot set in one. Three investigators hired by a western hedge fund head out to Inner Mongolia to assess a newly built city, which is oddly called July Park, as a potential investment opportunity. The investigators find more than they could have imagined but will they survive long enough to understand what they have seen?

Please note that this episode was recorded on my phone instead of the usual recorder, so the quality isn’t quite as good. I had a blast running the game so I think you guys will still enjoy it.
