Mad Baggins is at it again, and has gathered in Bag End a new cabal of adventurous spirits whom he has named the Conspirators of the Red Book. In an effort to gather notes for his book, he has asked these friends, under promise of payment and a bit of adventure, to help him confirm some important details about the history of the Shire and its people.

They are the Coal Squad. Their latest mission is stop Mari Lwyd from destroying the kingdom! The Welsh spirit has become incredibly powerful and is drinking all of the booze. Without booze, the workers won’t make enough presents in time for Christmas. Can the squad save the holiday?
