Synopsis: The last of the Three Beasts is different than the others. It is not a massive entity able to destroy fleets and kingdoms by itself. Rather, it looks like one of the Kin and it can mind control nearly anyone it encounters. Strife wishes to control all of the Kin so it has built a fleet to launch a war of conquest. In order to stop the beast, the heroes must risk everything in order to defeat it, including their own souls. The fate of the Kingdoms of the Kin lies in the balance!

Synopsis: The crew of the Tender Branch head out to deal with the first of the Three Beasts, the Beast of Scale. A massive flying monster that can destroy an entire island by itself is too dangerous to let live but conventional weapons cannot harm it. The knights fly to a kingdom with an archive of arcane lore but a secret cult of assassins tries to stop them. Even if they learn of the creature’s weakness, can they find and use it before Scale destroys too much?

Inverse World: The Composer of Souls

composer1For a long as anyone can remember, the residents of the sleepy community of Hephaestus’ Link have lived in the shadow of the Great Necropolis. A hidden city of the dead that rests upon a massive island floating less that 10 miles from island-ring community. No one in the town knows who built it or how it came to rest so near to their remote trading islands.. While most of the residents of Hephaestus’ Link feel slightly unnerved with the silent city looming over their community, most consider it a benign structure, being only a source of ghost stories for the elders to scare their grandchildren. However, one of those stories seems to have come true. Tales of strange music and an unearthly howling has been circulating around the town by Cloud Sailors from visiting ships. Fearing the rumors could stop valuable trade ships from docking, the mayor of Hephaestus’ Link has called upon adventurers to investigate this hidden city of the dead and discover why it has suddenly come to life again…

Trail of Cthulhu: General Order 11

Amidst the chaotic guerrilla warfare of Civil War Missouri, a small force of Union militia troops is tasked with carrying out General Order No. 11, the expulsion of all civilians from four counties on the Kansas-Missouri border. But each soldier has his own motivations, not all of them noble. When they encounter some unusual opposition, their commitment to their mission, their unit, and even their sanity will be tested.

This is an early playtest version of this scenario, and also Ethan’s first time running Trail of Cthulhu.
