As Europe goes to war in the year 1916, New York City has become a hotbed of international intrigue, even among its supernatural residents. The major factions of the supernatural desperately want to remain unnoticed by the human majority, so when strange murders and disappearances begin to plague the humans, they send a team of three beings to solve the problem. When a mage, a ghost, and a werewolf begin to investigate, they find a greater threat than they ever could have imagined.

The Biobuddy fighting circuit is a dark and dangerous subculture, where money is more important than anything else. Trainers do everything to get their Biobuddy to win arena fights, even if it means dirty tricks. In order to take over the Biobuddy circuit, the Gate 9 crew needs to identify the major players and that means going undercover.

In a grimdark post-apocalyptic Earth, a horde of goblins from a fantasy realm thrive. Exiled from their own universe, the goblins fight, explore, and aggravate the other surviving beings. One such band of goblins has been recruited for a quest to carry an ancient artifact to a distant place of power. Will the goblins overcome the strange monsters and vicious enemies between them and their goal? Will they even remember to finish the quest?
