god damn it Ross I know you CAN upload them at 2 PM Mountain time why you gotta entice me to stay up way too late on worknights
You know what’s good for protecting your conspiracy? Deathtraps.
@Capitalocracy: ‘Conspiracy’ is singular and therefore incorrect. 😀
Words fail me when trying to convey how awesome this is. Every time Caleb GMs A Dirty World the results are amazing. Every one’s up there in top RPPR scenarios/mini-campaigns for me. I’d throw so much money at a Noir anthology by you.
Hilarious and tragic in equal measures and played brilliantly by the players. Holy shit. Kind of sad that this probably won’t last much longer, considering the rate everything’s escalating at but, wow, what a ride.
omg, David’s personal story is so fucking depressing. psycho pregnant teens chasing left and right, and now he’s gonna lose his sad country boyfriend, too. possibly via the headshot method. (why does that bother me more than Tom’s sister being kidnapped. maybe because she said yolo?)
Things I learned this episode: David can’t keep it in his pants; Aaron will always remain the most trusting person in the group; Tom should never buy drugs, EVER; and cocaine prices are way down, apparently. Truly an educational experience guys and I can’t wait for the finale!
The more I listen, the less thorough this band of murderers seems…
To me, this is the most interesting scenario Caleb’s ran. It took me a while to get into the intricacies of Eclipse Phase, but I think its apparent, his heart and soul are in moral choices, which make BA and aDW his perfect systems.
Aaron is now competing with David for best spot here. It seems Tom feels a little lost here, but not everyone drawn into problems are in the right field to deal with them.
I can only imagine how this could’ve gone if they didn’t have David being a Deputy.
I listen to these games, and cant get “If True Detective and Breaking Bad had a baby” out of my head. Rad as all hell guys, loving it so far.
I would pay good money for a book of bleak settings and conspiracies written by Caleb. Dirty World alway produces entertaining results with the RPPr crew. (The Long Island one more in a trainwreck kind of way)
After finishing a Dirty World campaign recently I begin to miss it allready.
I gotta say, Caleb is my favorite GM, sorry Ross. Tom is my favorite player…. Unless Caleb has been drinking.
“if True Detective and Breaking Bad had a baby and the filler material was off-topic comedy gold instead of people staring at each other and having divorce drama subplots no one could ever care about,” I think
I wish this would go on forever.
Thanks for the tip about cocaine!
And I love the flashback mechanic. Great stuff.
Poor Granny. She was just texting jibber-jabber. 🙁
A Dirty World is a fantastic game to be an EVIL GM…and get away with it. >:)
Pauly, it may’ve been jibberjabber (which would deserve an asskicking by Mr. T, of course) but it was more important that it was directed to the guys in the field.
New favorite OOC moment from an RPPR game:
Caleb: “You guys are sending Aaron…alone…to the address you got by running the license plate of the car driven by the two men who kicked in his window and pissed in it?”
Tom: “…Pretty much!
This is quality ADW, gents. Can’t wait to see how it all plays out.
Grammatically Correct Brick is the name of my highschool ska band.
