A group of FBI and Secret Service agents have been sent to New York City to prepare for a presidential visit. During the inspections, evidence of a secret assassination plot comes to life. The Gate 9 crew find themselves in the middle of the civil rights for non-humans struggle. A massive rally is being held in Chicago, near the Brass Door and the team must do what they can to prevent any violence from breaking out. The government wants to stop or discredit the protestors, of course, but countering them without getting out a public fight is easier said than done.
A group of bar buddies discover that one of their friends has radically changed his life and seems to be an abusive relationship. They investigate to see if they can help him out of the relationship but soon learn that things are not as they seem. The friend has delusions of another girlfriend, a perfect manic pixie dream girl, while a shady barfly knows too much about the dark secrets behind what’s going on. Four men plunge into the occult underground without knowing what they’re doing or exactly why.
Wendy is calling in some favors. Four men owe Wendy big and they have to repay it by doing a small job for her. Saying no is not an option. The job itself sounds pretty simple. Retrieve some cookies, a cake, and a video recording of a failed cooking show shot just outside city limits. Of course, it won’t be that simple. It seems the debtors have some competition, occult groups willing to kill for the baked goods. Join us for our first game of Unknown Armies!

However, the dealer has fled into the Coxeter Museum, a small art museum and gallery. When the team enters the building, it quickly becomes apparent that the building’s interior is unlike any other structure they have ever encountered. It is a maze beyond their wildest imagination. Is escape even possible?
This scenario was an entry in the 2016 Shotgun Scenario contest. The map to the museum can be seen here. I also added another shotgun scenario, Unfriendly by Bret Kramer, as a hook to get the PCs into the museum.
