You have a right to do that, but you have no right to judge me. It’s impossible for words to describe what is necessary to those who do not know what GMing means. Edition Wars! Killer GMing has a face, and you must make a friend of Invincible NPCs and unbeatable traps. Horror and moral dilemmas are your friends. If they are not, then they are enemies to be feared. They are truly enemies…I watched a flail snail crawl along the edge of a vorpal sword. That’s my dream. That’s my nightmare. Crawling, slithering, along the edge of a +5 magical weapon . . . and surviving.

Eclipse Phase: Erasure Squad

In this special one shot (technically a gaiden game to an upcoming campaign) and first use of the new Zoom H2N recorder, the RPPR crew returns to Eclipse Phase! Instead of being sentinels investigating a mystery, this adventure focuses on an erasure squad, one of Firewall’s tactical assault teams. A rare opportunity has presented itself to take out a facility held by exhumans. However, Firewall did not have time to send in one of its experienced teams. They assembled a new erasure squad with whatever operatives were available at the time. Thus, a team composed of a SAIROC-K model variant, an ultimate mercenary, an autonomist machine fighter, and a scum warrior, led by a Triad enforcer will have to face whatever horrors lurk within a mysterious habitat in the Main Belt.

A Dirty World: Dr. Nova’s Going Away Party

In the distant future, Mars is the home of transhumanity, while earth is a ruined wasteland. Most of the population are corporate wage slaves and are only placated by vapid entertainment produced by hypercorp-contracted celebrities. These musicians, actors, and athletes live under a system not unlike the Hollywood studio system of old. They have money, influence, and an adoring entourage of lackeys but they have little control over their own lives. Gossip bloggers and studio executives manipulate the stars like puppets. Paparazzi and obsessive fans stalk them night and day. However, a ticket on Dr. Felonious Nova’s Ark Ship out of the solar system has opened up. When you’re a nearly immortal but incredibly jaded and burned out executive or celebrity, a way out of the rat race and into annals of history as a hero is worth more than anything. The ticket will be given to someone at Dr. Nova’s party. Yes, this is a Dirty World game set in the Eclipse Phase universe. All hail RPG schizophrenia!
